Beef stew recipe

Ingredients:

1. 2 lbs. beef stew meat, cubed
2. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3. 1 large onion, chopped
4. 2 cloves garlic, minced
5. 2 cups beef broth
6. 2 tablespoons tomato paste
7. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
8. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
9. 2 cups water
10. 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
11. 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
12. 1 teaspoon dried thyme
13. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
14. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes and cook until lightly browned.

2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes.

3. Stir in the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and flour. Stir until well combined.

4. Add the water, potatoes, carrots, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
