Caribbean Mac and Cheese

    Ingredients

    • 16 oz Elbow Pasta
    • 5 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    • 2 Tbsp butter
    • 1 Jalapeños Pepper
    • 2 serrano peppers
    • 2 eggs
    • 6 Cloves Garlic
    • 12 oz Evaporated Milk
    • ¾ cup whole milk
    • salt
    • black pepper

    Instructions

    Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
    Step 2
    Boil Pasta according to package instructions in salted water
    Step 3
    Drain pasta and transfer to a large bowl
    Step 4
    To the bowl with pasta, add butter, Jalapeños, Serrano and garlic, mix well.
    Step 5
    Then add cheese and mix well.
    Step 6
    In a separate bowl, mix the evaporated milk, whole milk, eggs, salt and pepper to taste.
    Step 7
    Add milk and egg mixture to be ELA with pasta and mix well.
    Step 8
    Transfer to baking dish.
    Step 9
    Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on top.
    Step 10
    Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
    Step 11
    Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes.
