Chocolate cookies



    • -125g salted butter (softened)
    • -120g caster sugar
    • -60g brown sugar
    • -1x egg (room temperature)
    • -2 tsp vanilla extract
    • -200g plain flour
    • -1 tsp baking soda
    • -40g cocoa powder
    • -Chopped white chocolate (measure with heart)

    cooking instructions:

    In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.

    -Add egg and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.

    -Add flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Fold until combined.

    -Fold in chopped white chocolate.

    -Chill cookie dough for 1-2 hours.

    -Preheat oven to 160C.

    -Take 1-2 heaped tbsp of cookie dough, roll into a ball and place on a lined baking tray. Add extra white chocolate on top of the cookie dough ball if desired (this will make the cookies look extra pretty!)

    -Bake at 160C for 14-17 minutes.
