Cream Puff Pastry



-1/2 cup water
-1/4 cup butter
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
-2 eggs


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil.

3. Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until mixture forms a ball.

4. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

5. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until the mixture is glossy and smooth.

6. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto an un-greased baking sheet.

7. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

8. Cool on a wire rack.

9. Serve with a dollop of your favorite sweetened whipped cream and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Enjoy!
