Crème brûlée 🤝🏼 donuts 🤝🏼 me 🥰🥰🥰



¾ cup warm milk

1 ½ tsp yeast

3 ¼ cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

¼ cup sugar

1 egg

60g unsalted butter

Filling of choice


1 cup sugar

½ cup water


1. Mix the milk and yeast and set that aside for 5 minutes.

2. Add all the ingredients with the milk to a bowl and knead until smooth (8-10 minutes).

3. Cover and keep the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.

4. Roll out the dough and cut out the donuts.

5. Leave them to rise for 1 hour.

6. Fry them until golden brown.

7. Fill them with your filling of choice.

8. Add the caramel ingredients to a saucepan and do not stir (it will crystallise).

9. Place it on med-high heat and swirl occasionally until it reaches an amber colour.

10. Carefully dip one side of each donut in the caramel and let it harden.
