Old Fashioned Pancakes Recipe

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs, lightly beaten
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter and oil until completely blended.

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir with a large spoon until just combined. Do not overmix.

4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Grease the skillet with butter or cooking spray.

5. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake into the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until bubbles begin to form and the edges are slightly dry. Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

6. Serve with butter and syrup. Enjoy!
