Softest and spongiest vanilla cake.


Softest and spongiest vanilla cake. Melt in the mouth texture and very easy to make.


2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk
40g butter

cooking instructions:

  1. In a bowl, add eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Whisk with a stand/electric beater until thick and pale in color. Sift in the flour and baking powder.
  2. Boil milk, then mix in the butter. Stir well and pour it in batter. Mix well until combined and smooth. Pour in a greased baking tin. Bake in an oven preheated to 170 for around 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Let cool for a few minutes, then remove from tin. Enjoy! Can also make in a cupcake tin.
