The best orange cake recipe


Super soft, melt in the mouth, bursting with flavours…this is the best orange cake you will make.


  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • small pinch of salt
  • Orange Glaze: 1 cup icing/powdered sugar, 1 tbsp orange juice, 1 tbsp heavy cream/milk, 1 tsp orange zest. Mix well until smooth.

cooking instructions:

  1. In a blender add orange juice, eggs, vanilla, sugar and oil. Blend for 3-4 minutes until pale in color. Remove in a bowl, then sift in flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well until combined but do not over mix.
  2. Pour batter in a bundt pan. Bake at 180C for around 35 minutes.
  3. Let cool, then pour glaze on top. Glaze is optional but it takes the cake to another level. Enjoy!
